Thanks for some feedback from ESL/Tafe Students for our movie “Project_Culture”. Here is the link, “mLearning4esl” and thanks to Jane Westworth who has set up this blog for comments! And thanks all who have given us some great comments and feedback.

Project culture was a very interesting project. I went to shoot that with a vision to find cultural symbols in Melbourne, Australia. After working whole day I pretty much captured the whole Melbourne (city based locations). It was tough but I was dedicated to do that. I believe the most challenging part of this kind of production is walking around the city whole day. Sometimes the people are not ready to be captured and neither I. But anyway, at the end of the day I managed to capture some really good footage that I did edit with special effects. The editing part was so long for the project. I had to use two of the 60minute mini DV disc that means I had to watch them all again to edit. The target was to make it a 1minute project. So during the editing process I had to think a lot about what to add and what to subtract. Finally I managed to select my scene without music. I was a bit worried about music because it had to be royalty free music. Fortunately I got some royalty free music with a software (pinnacle) and I though that music would be the best to match up with the scene. And just like that.. the mission was accomplished.
